Pistachio Paste

Ingredients

  • Shelled raw pistachios
  • Water
  • Sunflower oil (optional)

Modo de Preparo:

  1. Soak the pistachios in hot water for 1 minute.
  2. Drain and spread on a cloth.
  3. Rub the cloth to dry the pistachios and remove the skins.
  4. Remove any remaining skins by hand.
  5. Grind the pistachios in a food processor.
  6. Scrape down the sides of the food processor as needed.
  7. Gradually add water until you reach the desired consistency.

Tips:

  • Add sunflower oil or another flavorless oil, if desired.
  • You can add sugar to taste.
