Creamy rice pudding with caramel

Ingredients

Water: 3 cups
Rice: 1 cup
Milk: 3 cups
Cinnamon stick to taste (optional)
Sugar: 1 cup sugar (1 ½ if you want it sweeter)

How to make

Boil rice with water until almost dry.
Add the milk and cook until the rice is al dente.
Leave the rice over low heat, meanwhile melt the sugar in another pan.
Pour the melted sugar into the rice.
Turn off heat and serve.
